Duke Merhavy, MBA. Ph.D.
President and Chief Marketing Officer

Dr. Duke Merhavy is the founder of Fractional CMO & Marketing, the revolutionary way to plan and implement marketing efforts for small and medium-sized businesses. With decades of hands-on marketing leadership roles with companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500 in various industries, he is a master of integrated marketing strategies and implementation.

Duke’s approach to marketing is to do whatever it takes to meet and exceed the clients’ visions and goals, while providing the best possible return on their marketing investment. He helped companies go from obscurity to prominence, launch new products, and obtain market dominance. Using his vast experience, knowledge, and a creative mind, Duke leads a team of highly-qualified marketing professionals that formulates strategies, devises plans, and implements them.

Prior to founding Fractional CMO & Marketing, Dr. Merhavy spent 25 years in Director of Marketing, VP of Marketing, and Chief Marketing Officer roles in corporate America; and served as a Captain in the Israeli Military Intelligence. Mr. Merhavy earned a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Binghamton University in New York, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from California Pacific University.

Anna Kunz
Manager of Marketing Services

Anna’s experience as a business owner and her 8 years in the restaurant industry give her a well-rounded approach to the needs and requests of Fractional CMO & Marketing’s clients. Anna handles a variety of tasks in practically every aspect of the company’s activities that support our clients.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Anna is marketing professional with a BS in Communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Her experience includes planning and directing numerous restaurant openings, as well as marketing events such as sponsorships with Spring Training programs for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Anna is also an accomplished artist and has won awards for drawing, painting, and published poems.

Ginger Mace
Editor and Producer

Ginger is a marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in a wide variety of industries. She is also a gifted writer and editor, with an in-depth understanding of social media. She is also a ghost writer for many blogs and newsletters.

Ginger is an experienced event planner and an accomplished marketing researcher, who co-authored a comparative marketing strategy analysis college textbook. Over the years, she successfully provided marketing services to companies of all sizes and several industries, including non-profit organizations.

Kristi Wayland
Visual Branding Manager

Over the last 20 plus years as a graphic designer, Kristi designed beautiful and effective logos, brochures, tradeshow displays, newsletters, invitations, business cards, letterheads, vehicle wraps, electronic forms, labels and more.

Kristi enjoys the creative process of listening to clients, visualizing what they want, getting inspired, and designing. Through her design career she was featured in multiple art shows, and she won several awards for her graphic design. In addition to owning small businesses and developing brands for companies and entrepreneurs, Kristi also managed a team of over 70 graphic designers for a fortune 500 company.

Michelle Mahurin
Social Media Manager

Michelle has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, recruiting, and hospitality management. Her versatile experience, especially as a recruiter (which requires social media savvy to get the job done), makes her a great asset to our clients.

Michelle is originally from the Northwest, graduating with a degree in Sociology from Oregon State University. She worked for American Golf as the National Director of Food & Beverage Marketing & Catering in Dallas, Texas. Managing over 300 public courses and 40 private country clubs, Michelle worked with large corporations on marketing projects, as well as putting on large scale events for the company. She moved on to restaurant management and event sales, where she worked with different restaurant groups to improve service, operations, and sales. As a recruiter she has an extensive background with LinkedIn which is essential for social media marketing. Relocating to Arizona, she is a welcomed addition to our marketing team.
